Surviving Minnesota!

With yesterday's warm-up and then to cool down overnight our roads are super icy this morning and all shined up my drifting snow. Yikes!!!

Good Morning! Klops you are the only other person up? I am not complaining about lack of activity. Heavens - this is the first time I am participating this early in the day.

Full day ahead. Lots to do in Richfield. I did drive home to BL yesterday morning. Got a ton of things done and left to come back to Richfield. Even made the DH a dinner for him to cook up. Nummy meatloaf. Walked the dogs, opened and distributed (its a business) the mail, paid whoever/whatever needed to be paid, went to the bank to deposit, walked the dogs. Watered and fed and spoiled the birds. They were purring when I left. I return home on Sunday. Yea! But enjoying Downton Abbey while here.

I am glad I have all of Friday and Saturday left to do what I need to get done.

This two-year old yellow lab (named Rayne) gives wonderful hugs. I paw on each shoulder and her face laid on either side of the neck. Love - love - love to granny.

Yellow labs are sweet They are experts at putting guilt on a person.

Last night mine laid on the floor and stared at me with the big sad eyes. Never blinking even. As I sat in my Lazy boy and multi tasked, TV, Talk to DW and use IPhone. Finally I could take it no more, I laid the blanket over my lap and invited her up.

I was faster than her this time. She jumped up, laid on my lap and tried to kiss me. I moved my head before she could. I am pretty good at avoiding her kisses after 10 years of doing it.

But dog kisses are the best kisses!

It looks like it is going to be above freezing all day. That is good. With the moisture and wind it does not look like a good day outside to get stuff done. I am thinking all my birds coops are dry enough ( the litter) to survive this, but litter can turn from dry to sloppy in a second in this weather.

yes they are both lovers. I am enjoying them. Took Rayne out and threw the ball like 20 x - seriously. I have things I need to get done and she is two - so much energy. We will do a walk yet this a.m. It was GREAT to see my dogs when I went home yesterday. Little gippers. Kisses are not so good if make up has been applied. After 10 year I can only imagine you know her moves Ralphie and how to avoid them. I need another cup of tea. Be right back.

Rhetts, as relates to winning those chicks of Ralphies. You can tell your husband to put his mind at ease, as I have met Ralphie in person more than once and he made no undue advances toward me even when we met without Judy being present. He seems like a harmless enough fellow
Ralphie, I am wondering if you were familiar with Mr. Kind who recently passed? You would probably have known him from your prior professional career?
