Thank you cluckies. It's frustrating. Feels like we can't get ahead. And extra work for me... Because he can't. Spring is just hard... The added yard work, etc etc . Now this. It will for sure be cutting into my BYC time I'm afraid. Lol

The tornado warning was canceled. We were burying the chick when it came. I didn't hit us, it was south of us.

i just sat down from working and see we are under a warning too. We just ran out and packed up the CX chicks in a box and put them back in the basement for now. the hatches are battoned and we are settling in. THere is a tornado on the ground north and west of us and headed east. stay safe everyone!

before the weather got crazy i was sitting down to share some photos of what i have been working on today. check out our new sign for the farmers market booth! chalkboard on the bottom for whatever we want to write for the day. i am so thrilled with how it turned out!

My favorite chick just died in my hands. She was weak and gasping for air. I've never had a chick die before.

Help! 6,5 weeks old. black Australorp over Ameraucana. Male or female? Thoughts? Named her Oprah the day we got her as she sort of feather sexed a female (amateur here). Will I have to change name to Montel?!?
