I was wondering if you came. I figured you would know I was the one sitting there with the BYC business cards on the table.

There were a couple people only looking for Banties... Did you have a man in tow? There was a couple there that wanted bantams. BTW I am thinking about getting some of them too. Yesterday, I sold 1 lone SS to a woman from the city with a couple dozen kids. They had just come from Milaca where they bought 5 fufus and banties.

City people like banties and fufu's.

I was too busy ooohing over baby chicks to notice BYC cards. No, no man in tow, just myself.
My sister raises Serama/Pyncheon cross bantams, they are the cutest little things:

There are five happy healthy little ones! It's so cute to watch their parents talk to them. Sorry about the blurry pictures.

And I have Turkeys!!!

One more egg hatched over night, the white egg is still working

We are now 8 for 14 on the class room hatch! Technically 8 for 13 as one was a non-starter. There are 2 more with pips so maybe we will be up to 10! I am amazed! And here I was crossing my fingers for at least 1 to hatch!!!

And the white egg opened up with a completely black chick in it!! I have to wonder if it was a super light BA egg? It was white as a leghorn egg so who knows.

My goal is to sell 2 roosters and my ducks before school ends in 1 week

Most likely not going to happen though.
I need to butcher the older hens, and order the new chicks already, I'm aiming for a rainbow egg basket.

Of course the kids have been asking if they can take one home but that obviously would be a bad idea
