I wish I could help you on this, but I cannot tell what mine are either. I figure when they lay an egg I will know they are a hen.

@MNChickMom, here's a few pictures of my SS trio. They don't stop moving, so I got what I could! I have one that is pretty white around the face. I know zero about SS, so whether this is typical as they grow I don't know. They're hatchery stock. They're 6 going on 7 weeks old.

This is my first time owning them and I hear they're all around great chickens to have. I actually wasn't familiar with the breed until we were in Arizona and hit up the zoo. They have "Farm" area with a bunch of chickens. They had a SS and DH and I were like well those are cool......
