Surviving Minnesota!

@MNChickMom , here's a few pictures of my SS trio. They don't stop moving, so I got what I could! I have one that is pretty white around the face. I know zero about SS, so whether this is typical as they grow I don't know. They're hatchery stock. They're 6 going on 7 weeks old.

I wish I could help you on this, but I cannot tell what mine are either. I figure when they lay an egg I will know they are a hen.

Nice looking birds.little round butterballs just like mine. Mine are a little advanced in the comb department, but I'm holding out for the crow. And even so my kids can show them as cockerereal this year a neighbor wants a good rooster so I'm set. They are such great foragers.1st out in the afternoon and last in in the evening.

This is my first time owning them and I hear they're all around great chickens to have. I actually wasn't familiar with the breed until we were in Arizona and hit up the zoo. They have "Farm" area with a bunch of chickens. They had a SS and DH and I were like well those are cool......

My first time with breed too. Very impressed so far. Today is the first time (7 weeks) I saw one of the suspected roos jump on or attack the barred rock cockerereal. Barred rock walked away.

Reginald a.k.a Reggie. Ugh! Fingers! Getting ready for a Work Comp Audit tomorrow a.m. on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. Brought my computer and printer up out of the basement to work. All the windows are open. So this isn't too bad. Its all work anyway.

Hey all, hope everyone is enjoying the weather! have had some computer issues lately, hopefully they are straightened out. we'll see. Busy spring anyways, so not too much time to be online

. plus been working some overtime... DH ran into some poison ivy in the yard, battling that now. argghh.

Ralphie, finished up those turkey eggs, made a wonderful custard, scrambled them, and hard boiled them. yummy! I have a photo of the custard, but my bluetooth on my computer isn't working cripes! computer nightmare!

This dang computer updated to windows 10 without my consent, nothing but issues since! I don't know why it updated, I didn't tell it to, kept avoiding it, I hate it. well, i'll try and get on more as time permits. Got my tomato plants hardening up pretty good, can't wait to get them in the ground!

Have a great night everyone!
