Surviving Minnesota!

I know who you are talking about. We also have the same breed of LGD but ours is more of a pet although he barks all night long out into the field so he is doing some work I guess and there is never a critter in the yard. We will keep him. Their dogs you don't pet because they are working dogs.

I would get an LGD over donkeys. Granted ours is only 1/2 LGD. She likes human affection but when she's going her job she does not want to be interrupted. Eventually in life I would like to have 2 Great Pyrenees

I have done a rant again....I am bad... Well,, not that bad.

I just get a kick out of people that say a bird cannot be an Easter Egger. Jerry, correct me if I am wrong, please.

An Easter Egger has no common trait other than laying a colored egg (Green, olive or blue) correct?

I know lots think they have either tufts or muffs black or green legs but those are not required are they?

There is no SOP for an EE. I just get on a high horse when people go nuts and "declare that is no EE"

Here is my rant" https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/436863/oh-craigslist-you-amuse-me-so/7100#post_17809178

Now the rant is truly over as I prepare for another day of chicken wrangling.

I tried to take cool pictures of my PC rooster yesterday like Jerry takes. I failed. Badly. I wanted to get their colors and shapes captured. I got shadows and ugly looking birds. Way uglier than they are... Holm bring a camera when you show up here for your turkeys. ( along with my cats). Speaking of cats, Judy is making me build a little covered bed so they do not get cold....Geesh they are barn cats... Someone talk sense to her.....

Good Morning Chickeners . . . .

Ralphie - I read your rant because I could not believe anyone could be ranting at this time of the morning. The day is just beginning! That was informative - not considered a rant in mho. So its gonna be a good day as you (and many others on this forum) teach us many new things.

Finally! My new phone should be working. I had to have the sim card activated. So simple. Its not like I change phone once every five years or anything like that. This was a nerve wracking, ranting, experience!
