Spoken like a true woman!! Judy feels the same way as you. Speaking of Judy, She asked me if a &*&*& Turkey has been up in the bird feeder. I wonder why she thinks that.. I am not thinking she believed me when I said " I have noticed some of the chickadees getting a little plump"...

Hahaha, funny. I have that same green hanging feeder, funny!, I've had it for years, but they still sell it at ff.

FYI to those with nipple waters, The other day I stepped outside and heard a weird clickety noise and realized it was a chickn trying to get a drink from the bucket so went and got the bucket to fill but it still had water in it. I never have had it empty when I go to change it. The opening in the lid for the cord of the heater to go through was frosted up and created a vapor lock so the water couldn't come out !

Good to know! I put my hole in the side (moved it to try and keep dirt out), I wonder if that could still happen?

We are actually going to sell a few dozen tomorrow. I have eggs, I am just getting layer eggs a little on the slow side. I got 5 layer eggs today and 14 hatching eggs, They seem to have come out of the slump. I think processing that one in front of them did it. They got the message.

Do you need Guineas? Best deal around...

I guess, I might have done better than I thought on eggs. I just got eggs ready to sell and to set.

I have 41 eggs to sell,
I have 5 pullet eggs for us. too small to sell.


I have 72 eggs to set from last 10 days. (11.8 eggs average per day) from 200 birds not bad)

6 cuckoo marans (Might be a little early to set them but most the pullet eggs are theirs)

Today marks nine months without drinking a drop of alcohol including any kinds of wine! And six months of eating seven fruits and veggies a day, drinking 10 glasses of water. Lots of 8 hour sleeps. The change in my body has been fantastic! I feel great, I lost weight and my way of thinking is very positive! I'm looking to keep this up and go for more, because I choose to!
No alcohol, eating healthy, lots of sleep and above all, an hour of exercise every day!

I don't know whose status this is, but I was so happy for them, I copied and pasted it.

Ordering fish from Allison's pantry for lent. I only like halibut. A neighbor in Fairfield gave some to us a few years ago. But its way to expensive

Evening all. I'm dragging butt tonight. ready to have a nap. We had in law extended family gathering today. It was fun but meant I had to be up early before church to make food.

The flock seems to have enjoyed their day. I don't know what the deal is but 4 of my 6 nest battery had nests of dirty eggs. I don't know if I've got a hen stomping or pecking eggs or what but gross... I didn't give any fodder yesterday because things grew slower this week for some reason. Maybe this was a protest. Hopefully giving the fodder a bonus day to grow will get me back on track. They definitely love the stuff. They mob me when I come outside in anticipation.

Oh and I'm jealous of those of you setting eggs. I can't wait for chick hatching this spring. They will be doing them at the school again and I will do some here too.
