Just some pics from her last trip to Duluth...

Lol the one where she is digging in the water was in Lake Superior. We were looking for agates and she decided she wanted to find rocks too. So she would go get rocks and bring them to us and go get more lol!

Both chickens And chicks are at the post office! My dad and I are going to get them then he is going to drop me off at school and take them home

What a beautiful old girl holm. Fun that you included her on your Duluth trip. Looking for agates. So cute.
Ahhh those yeller dogs. They do break our hearts.

Tore ACL. Surgery is $3000 and That's way to much for a dog so she's in the house for now. She is also on a diet since she was a but overweight, it doesn't help that shes 1/4 Australian Shepard 1/4 border collie, and 1/2 great Pyrenees.

Is it tore all the way through? Or only partway? Ours (Aussie) tore his part way. We opted not to have surgery. Went with 3 months of no running, jumping (even small jumps) no wrestling for 3 months and it healed. We still don't let him jump though do to a bad back. But he can run and wrestle. Get her on glucosomine, and fish oil daily for sure. If it is torn all the way, then you have to do surgery. Get a second opinion. We did. Surgery price varies vet to vet. There are are more than one type of sugery that can fix it as well.

Sorry to read about the dog Holms. It is tough when as person becomes so fond and attached to them ! Layers I hope your dog makes a complete recovery.

We dodged the snow event in the Northland, but you Banana Belters are yet at risk?

No snow here but the wind is blowing! With the proper clothing it does not feel all that bad.

I am consistently letting my flock out to free-range. Thats a big deal for me. I even opened their gate this morning.

Our dog is done... I can't wake her up no matter how I try now... She is still breathing but won't wake up...

Morning . Got some raspberry plants coming today . Tracking shows them at the PO . Wondered if they shipped . No scan at acceptance or in route . Possibly some plum scions also and a package from Ralphie soon . Chainsaw chains tomorrow I think . Gotta love online buying .

All of what i said was from the vet, we assumed it was something tore but took her in to see. I'm assuming it's not tore all the way but im not sure since i wasn't there at the vet. I think she is on some fish oil. No running or jumping for her which is why we have her inside, even though she hates it.

Thanks Cluckies. She is wonderful. This dog and I grew up together as she came when I was only 6. My grandma really wanted a dog so my Aunt and Uncle got her one. Ok they might have came home with two... And my grandma died later that spring from cancer so the dog lived with my aunt for awhile until she came here and she has been here ever since.
