Surviving Minnesota!

My dog will bark and chase the deer out of the yard but luckily stops and comes back once the deer have left. She is 4 years old today we have gifts for her and cake for us :wee

I'm not especially handy, so I'm pleased at the progress. I just started finally today. Got in about 4-5 hours with the help of 6 y/o boy and DH (mostly just with moving and lifting.)

TFred you are doing great. Forgive me for saying or asking but I thought you were a man. But I see DH. Now I know you are a lady chicken keeper...? Right? Ivie where's your list? Lol.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a (hopefully affordable!) chicken vet in the Twin Cities area. Any recommendations? Thanks =)

I'm not sure about twin cities metro but you would google 'avian vet minneapolis' I suppose to find one. Believe it or not we have one that comes right into our rinky dink town on Tuesdays. (She's out of Grand Rapids) but I know that doesn't help. The u has some I'm sure. Might be discounted care with docs learning there.

Just checking in. No outside work for me this week. I've been painting walls and acquiring beds so my kiddos have a place to sleep. We're going to have someone come out later this week to give an estimate for demolishing our silo that is in dangerous condition. We are also going to get someone looking at our barn, but they want to start with photos, instead of a visit. I'm real nervous, cuz my husband is trying to prep me for if we can't afford to save it. That's not what I want, of course.
