Surviving Minnesota!

My chickens are ready for me to pickup. The coop has two sides on it and no run. Was making good progress today. Now this line of showers is going to slide right over us for the afternoon. Rats.

Tfred I didn't realize we were so close, I'm between Breezy and XL. No rain here it stayed just to the south. Good luck with your coop build!

How many of you have Cream legbar roosters????

I might need to "borrow" some in late Oct for a couple days of R&R in Hutch...

I think I asked this here before, but I am not sure.....old age and all..

Ralphie - I've got a goat lead for you as well. St Francis, $100 for the pair. Listed in Facebook Pets & Farm Animals of Minnesota:
Time to start downsizing. Would like to rehome a pair of 5-year-old pygmy goat wethers ("neutered" males). We raised them as bottle babies and they are very curious and friendly. They are also helpful with lawn management (they will eat most anything).

Good for you and your assistants Mnchickmom. Nice looking birds.
Holm I appreciate the generous offer of the kitten, but I have decided against getting any. I fear that they would end up as lunch or dinner for the Fishers.
