Surviving Minnesota!

Good Morning Chickeners . . . . been getting tons done this morning - including in the middle of the night - could not just lay in bed and try to sleep. When a person, generally speaking, gets a little older sleep patterns are not what they were at the younger ages. I used to think it would be cool to be older and have all that extra time from sleep just not wanting to happen. Ha! :thWhat a 'funny' thought. Immaturity. But now its been a few years and the truth is - a person survives without all that sleep and there is alot to get done while the rest of the state sleeps. Coring apples for instance. Then vacuum pack them and throw them in the freezer. Picking up and putting away - things. Reading. Computer. Studying (anything). A couple hours goes along, long way. Then a nap before getting up for the day. It works fairly well. Except when a person takes some sleep aids and cannot wake up while walking around the next day. :caf

BC - how are the parents doin?
Jerryse - how is the wife doin? I tried to call and did not leave a v.m. I will call again.
Ralphie - sorry about the roo - dirty animals.
Holm - I mean it! That bird is so o o handsome.
Sorry IF I left people out. Have a great day.

Holms, it is unlikely that I would go to Hutchinson. I am not going to show any longer, as I don't want to spend the time cage training and traveling to shows. I don't really care to go through all the work to show at one show, and I am so far from shows of any consequence it is a serious time consumer.
The only reason I may attend is to pick up birds from someone that I would arrange in advance ?

I have been depressed all day, I have found the cause, it was the mean things said about Knucklehead by a couple people on here...

He is not that bad, I held him tonight without any major damage occurring. He might have knocked over a few things and scratched a tad, but everyone still has all their fingers and eyes.

I think he is really warming up to me...

Showing is a lot of work. I suppose you would have quite the drive to Hutch? I am scared that I am gonna come home with more birds than I go with...
