I tricked most of my free ranging chicks today . Got them into a pen . Hope to catch them after dark for evaluation . Too stressful on them before dark . They are not cuddle friendly .

Ought to get EJB over there. I hear he's the best at chick cuddling.

I am picturing a dozen scared chicks huddled in a corner in fear EJB and Jerry are actually going to cuddle them.....Poor dears!

I tested some chickens for a lady for the Hutch show today. She had a really nice Legbar pullet. The pullets was friendly and came right too her, until after I drew blood from it. She set it down and it ran up and attacked the woman's leg with her beak.. It was almost as if she was saying " you bleed me, I will bleed you".

I have never seen one do that before. It was kind of funny beings the Legbar pullets are so huge and all.

Well first of all for 58 chickens you need small waterer and feeders so they see your hand and face and feet every day. Now when I had those chicks with my pint brooder waterer it was 3 x daily. And we'll of course a myriad of fuzzballs and their antics trumped 'CBS, NBC ' etc etc. chick tv is my favorite tv at night.

We are house chick free again!

The little toad went to a neighbor girls house....I sure hope her parents don't notice the extra chick in her room....

She had a 3 day old toad/dom cross. It is huge way larger than the week old toad. I will be interested in seeing what it does as an adult. She was going to eat the father to the chick as he keeps sneaking into the toad coop. I told her she should hold off to see what the chick looks like first.

Ralphie everybody has given their opinions on the matter. I feel like you could mentally withstand political rhetoric from opposing candidates as most do not have the vision that you have. Lol. They'd be dead in the water against you. That being said pressures on home life, family worrying, health affairs not put to bed yet it seems that holding off a bit may not hurt. And I'm in that selfish category that would miss you on here of course.
