Surviving Minnesota!

Handled all the Cochins tonight. The new ones got more attention, especially the cockerel since he always grabs skin when I grab him, and when I hold him he thrashes. Most likely just a stage but I would rather handle him now then later. One of the things Rick stressed when showing me his birds were strong wings, I had heard of it, but never really knew what they felt like. After really handling the cochins tonight you could really tell, especially when I grabbed a layer afterwards and it was very prevelant that his birds have VERY strong wings.

And I just have to share my new favotite volleyball picture. Mostly just because of Coach'a reaction

Layers, from the facial expressions in that photo it seems all are much into the moment !
You really got up there for that play.

Memphis, 5400+ birds is quite a gathering and a lot of roosters crowing ! With live streaming a person can enjoy to a degree from afar.

It is 26 here this morning with forecast high of 32 I believe. A dusting of snow over night and 2 to 5 inches to come today. It makes one think about moving to the Minnesota Banana Belt !

Morning Lvie, Erli and Ed.

Great photo layers.

Green grass disappeared but I think it might be back today...?
More snow again tomorrow.

Wind is beating up new plastic on run already . Might need more lath.
