I have a friend that smokes in her coop! I've told her they have a very sensitive respiratory system and the dangers of fire if the ember comes off her cigarette,, but she won't stop doing it, she says 'they aren't going to live to be 50 anyway.' It really bugs me but I guess I can't stop her and don't know what else I can say. I was visiting yesterday and we went to see the hens and she actually dropped her cig butt on the floor of the run and squished it out!! she smokes hand rolled with no filter so she didn't leave a filter but I still find it disgusting. Anybody have other ideas to get her to stop?

That's an idea but Im sure it wouldn't work. She's very redneck -and I don't like to say that cause it gives rednecks a bad name
