Plow damages the mail box this morning. Lucky there were no porcupines in it. Had to have the little woman assist with repairs and then assist me to get out of the ditch which I fell in.
Temp seems great compared to what we have had, but more snow on the way and perhaps in double digits? About six inches over night here.

You guys killed a porcupine?! I don’t like when dogs find them but we won’t kill them... They aren’t bad...

Have you ever tried pulling quills out of a horse. Not fun at all. For you or the horse, or having to pull over 200 out of a 120 pound dog. I agree they aren't bad but it os not worth it. Never had a cow get any, but that is either a rodeo or a huge vet bill. For a problem that could have been solved with under $1 by just shooting them. If there weren't so dang many here we probably wouldn't but there are a lot out here so most people do shoot them.

Will that make a mysterious appearance in the neighbors mail box ?

Sadly no, however there are currently 3 porcupines in our parking lot at school getting moved around in and on kids vehicles(I have nothing to do with these)

+6 to start the day, but the sun is visible. More snow in the double digits on the way tonight & Sunday ?
Curious as to how many here consistently view any sections other than this one ? I do not, as I find little information of value in them and this one provides good entertainment and some good information from time to time.
