Surviving Minnesota!

The first one definitely has better tail angle. But he appears younger and not quite as filled out.
Yep that’s what I was thinking. He is the youngest Cockerel I have left. I put a white band on him so I could keep my eye on him and so far I think he is the one I’m going to keep... I think I’ll keep the extra around... If I cull him I know the keeper will die...

You may see significant changes if he is kept alone or as the sole male with a group of hens. At least that is the way some of our buckeyes transitioned quickly from immature to more mature. Keep him on high protein feed to get his frame up to sop size.

Good morning all. erlibird is not early, Jerry is sleeping in and Ralphie is working on preparation of a speech I suspect.
Things look better today with no new snow overnight and high to be in the upper 30s.

Morning MCM, Ed, Jerryse, holms, TFred.
Sounds like the white stuff is easy come and easy go this week. One can only hope green grass for chickens is on the way.

TFred I reviewed and most popular unit is the Duo60. I can’t remember how many chitlins you have. Duo80 is 8 quarts instead of 6...?
