1st calf heifer. She has turned out decent. #12

A butcher steer... We kept back three runts that were 4-500lbs and now they are 7-800lbs... Should be around 11-1200 this fall in the slaughterhouse,,

A nice heifer that will be bred this spring. #5

Another heifer that will be bred... She is a daughter of Annadale and aunt to #5 above.. #13

A big bull calf. He might not look like it but he weighs at least 200lbs already

A CCpair. Should be a nice heifer calf.. Lots of depth and gut to her already..

Porter's Tips on starting your poults.

I use 28% turkey & gamebird starter. The recommendation on the label is to feed it for 6 weeks.

22% is a little low but should work. I use a cattle concentrate of 32-34% to increase the protein on some of my mixes. You might be able to find that. OR you could start finding bugs for them to eat. They love bugs.


I have another hatch (finally) so far it appears I have 4 white legbars, 1 cream, 2 doms, and 3 PC. The toad eggs are just sitting there like a teenager in front of video game, no movement at all.

Could you maybe feed a different feed animal wise to get that 28%?
