Good luck Ralphie. Good morning all. It is brisk this AM but we are forecast for a nice day filled with sunshine and a need to get things done. More rain on the way.

Go Get 'Em @duluthralphie Something popped up on my Facebook about Farm & Food MN Support and which candidates will support that. Ralphie was in the list among other candidates. Lots of important companies producing food in this state along with our farmers at the roots of it all.

The 7 remaining hens I have out and about today on frosty grass. They are all over the yard. They have been hunkered lately keeping undercover in the brush. And 2 days I saw a Bald Eagle doing a low fly over. The Welsummer hen stood her ground while the rest scurried under. She as suspected has taken over the lead. Roosterless is no way to be. If I lose that dark brown egg layer I'll be bummed. Why am I with out a rooster....!!!?!!! Less mouths to feed this winter while in the Run. I guess...

I got this purdy little Brown Lehorn cockerel if you want him lol.

I like everything about him except his comb. Single comb boys get winter dubbed hard in my cold coop. What else do you got?

If you had someone heading your way from down here, I'd send along one of my Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. No one wants to buy them, and they're so nice I'd hate to eat them. I know you'd take great care of them, but I'm pretty sure we are very far away

He’s at that hyper stage. Not aggressive but hyper. If you don’t want him he’s staying here for a flock rooster.

I do have a Dom/Cochin rooster. He’s the cutest little sucker.
