They are soggy. Their poop is soggy.
Idk I’ve never had em. A neighbor had them and she said the poop was out of hand.
Plus I think I just like having chickens. I love when I have a full flock of 10 (coop allowance) but 7 has been pretty darn nice!

) safely ensconced inside e-netting. Their job is to scratch around and eat maggots, etc. Not sure the heritage turkeys will cooperate, but maybe they will to some degree. Some folks have had luck with them. Anyway, the point being, the ducks wouldn’t be more than one day in the same paddock except in the most messiest of times... winter. And I don’t mind harvesting violent or extraneous drakes (or mean-girl ducks for that matter).
