First, I happened to snap a picture of the incredible splitting cat that herds chickens...

and one of the pieces that broke off her..

Also I have decided to have a symposium here next month. Please register now,,,send entry fees early and often..

The class will be on Egg Production in the backyard flock,

I counted and I have 36 hens, all the birds have been inside for two days. I gathered 6 chicken eggs! How many others can brag about those numbers?

In addition I have 11 turkey hens and got 1 turkey egg... I am going to living high on the hog with all these eggs to sell....

Also Erlibrd I have to keep Princess's sister. She laid one of the eggs.

I have a chicken named Snirt. Some poor sod suggested it as a joke but underestimated just how lackadaisical I am with chicken names.

101 reasons why I should not be bothered or talk to or about today:

1) it is April 13th
2) I am not an accountant
3) I hate record keeping hence I sux at it
4) taxes are due in 2 days
5) I will owe money —again
6) I hate writing a check to the wasteful spending politicians
7) I am just starting my taxes now
8) Judy and I will talk less than politely before the day is over if history is any indication
9) it is not starting out well. Turbo tax refused to download immediately

They have moved upstairs and live with “Tweety”... yes, Judy names the stupid bird... I can say this as she is getting us beer to help reduce tension.
