Surviving Minnesota!

Gosh I thought it was more of a Southies problem. 60 below kills those kind of flies right?! LOL. So sorry Banty on your loss too... Yeah. And I kind of wondering why she got it in the first place. She's got that spring whatever underlying thing going on I'm sure. Usually makes em weaker or prone to other problems.
I'll give her tonight and if she's looking better fine. If not then I need to just do it. Poor thing.


I have had fly strike a couple times. It sux... and stinks.

It's been 60 above recently! It's definitely more prevalent down south, but I've had it happen to my birds twice now. And yes, it does seem to happen due to underlying issues. My rooster had been acting weird for the last month before he got it.
