BC I infrequently get eggs that color with first lay pullets or late cycle from older hens from my Marans. I would anticipate that as this pullet continues to lay she will produce eggs with better and more uniform color ?
We got another inch+ of rain here yesterday. The chickens don't seem to much care, but I do.

Good morning. Ed good to hear. I like that dark egg next to Jerry’s Ameraucana’s egg there and if ever there was a more beautiful combo I’m sure I’m quite satisfied. Besides being long legged speedy blackbirds in the yard they are wonderfully friendly. Even DH finds my Edith quite charming.

This morning is weird!
A Blue?!ish color in the sky. And some kind of yellow circle out there?
