Surviving Minnesota!

This was the stuff I got at l & m that one day. I cleaned out my coop of poopy wet shavings today. Took out mouse riddled insulation out of the roof and re did that and sprayed this along the frame work before the new insulation . The coop does not smell like a coop at all. It’s mint and cinnamon! Fresh pine shavings, straw, oak leaves in the run, lawn clippings. We’re ready for winter! I’ll let you know how this all works. If at all. The birds hung out down at the coop and run this afternoon. I think they liked that wind break in the run. I swear they look content when things are all clean and sparkly. I sat on a straw bale watching them tonight. I hate cleaning coops and the mouse insulation is my least favorite. But feels good it’s done.

Is he rangey and your dragging his vent back home or why is he being led on leash?
He has problems submitting to authority....people....

He gets particular joy from sneaking up on a person when their back is turned and attacking. He is large enough to hurt a person. When I gave him to Holm I had told him about his bad habits.

I tried multiple techniques to break him of this. I have picked him up and carried him holding his head down or my hands over his eyes, I have tried a blow to his chest, I have pulled him around and around by his snood.

Judy did not want him around anymore and I really was tired of him too. Holm tried the harness run which might have worked. He said he has been a good boy since he practiced for Canterbury Harness racing...:lau
