Surviving Minnesota!

Another rainy day here . Hey anybody fishing yet . This corvid stuff may spoil my late May fishing trip as we usually stay in a motel 2 days . :( May have to make time in June when in MN . Been milling some black locust for deck boards . So the rain has stopped me . Hopeful for Monday but chance of rain several days this coming week .

DW was in a mood yesterday . I had nowhere to go . Cold wet rainy . She did a grocery run already and is on Skype now . Sun is shining and predicted warmer . Time to do outside stuff .
Everybody's in a mood. It's not so bad for peeps out in the country like us, but it's still a thing. I can't imagine being stuck in a tiny apartment with a couple littles, a gamer spouse & his gamer "little" brother, trying to work from home in a state run by a hard-faced martinet from some "dystopian-future" film. For us, things are almost normal (esp in SD). How lucky are we, out in the sticks?

I wanna do outside stuff, but my hip's giving me gyp. Need to pull some more logs up to the hill where we're using them for raised beds, so I guess I'll be following the tractor in the side-by-side instead of trotting along behind. 😂 Got to find some dirt that's not all bound up by grass roots. DH says, "just break 'em apart a little." :lau Clearly he has never tried that... I want a pond-ette anyway. In the run-off. Just hatched 14 ducklings. :weeI hope we like duck--guess we'll find out.:gig

I saved up some “Manitoba Maple”

I love the red streaks in it.
