I know of a few cranberry lakes but I figured they are all local names like “mud” lake. None of the cranberry lakes I know of have fish.

You likely drove by it daily in the old times, but it can't be seen from 35. It is quite near Eddy Lake which is named after me of course.

Another hot day, I need to weed the garden, but refuse to in this heat.

My zucchini is behaving badly, it gets about 3 inches long. The blossom falls off and the end rots.

My vine stuff is a month behind this year. Disgusting!!!

This is because they are the female blossoms and they are not getting pollinated. Find some male blossoms and use them to pollinate the female blossoms.

Obviously they are not doing what you hired them to do. Either that or you don't have any male blossoms. Usually male blossoms appear before the female blossoms.

While out pulling weeds today, I found two different watermelon vines with female blossoms. None of the watermelon vines have any male blossoms so these female blossoms are not going to become watermelons.

I might as well take out ads and get a billboard, telling Austin what lake would be the same thing.

Judy took a picture of the little fish in the big fishes mouth.. we re-created it before they became fish sticks.

Ok Ralphie your squash may need calcium . I will add a link . On squash blossoms the female has a small squash at the bottom of the blossom . Male does not .

How do you know the difference?

As jerryse said, female blossoms have a small squash at the bottom and the males do not. The female blossoms have pistils and the male blossoms have stamens.
