I reached out to TFred last night. He says he has his son he’d like to pass on to me as he’s a bit loud for the neighborhood but I wouldn’t feel right about it until we have our predator figured out.

Actually I’ll probably keep Basil until the snow starts and the hens decide to stay inside the run. I’ve been letting them out from morning until dusk The neighbor dog hasn’t been in our yard all season, I guess she is being watched carefully.

I had the 6 young ones butchered last month, they are in the freezer, but Basil I'll just have whacked.
