As long as you let them get really dry, it won't be noticeable. Leave them in water and they will start stinking pretty quickly.

Don't ask.

That’s a lot like doing dishes though... and I hate to start doing dishes as it would be hard on her.

She would start to have expectations, and when I didn’t do them next time she would be so disappointed.
