I ignored her when she said it. The WW refuses to allow me to remain silent on these things. When I said nothing I got a “well, what’s your thoughts? Have you nothing to say?”

I was forced to say something.

The correct answer is something along the lines of, "I was looking at my beautiful wife." Then just stick to your guns. She may laugh and inform you that she has a mirror and knows better, but the truth is, she wants you to keep up the lovely ruse. My husband has nearly convinced me that his perception of me is stuck in a two decades old memory and he is literally not capable of seeing me objectively. I'm okay with that. Maybe I'll even toss the dam mirror...

(And yes I know you're joking but you know... I'm the straight person. Can't help it.)

First eggs!! Clearly they didn't use the nice, clean, soft nesting boxes...is there anything I can do to encourage their use?

I go with the flow and would Put a box in that corner
Do you have fake eggs or golf balls in the nest box?

Checked camera cards today . 2 does show up regular and a nice 8 point buck at night only a couple of times . Made 2 mock scrapes as I have not found any natural scrapes yet .

I have not found a scrap this year either. But there is no doubt the bucks are in rut.
