this is otter tail county. Every year someone has to try and get on the ice too early.

BRRR it feels like winter . We hit 59 yesterday and 12 now . Going to take awhile to adjust .

It's 8 below here now, supposed to reach a high of 1. Sure hope that's 1 above.

Got a dusting of snow . So there is snow for Christmas and no removal for me . Good compromise . Dropped to 10 a high of 18 .

I have 7 below. Not much snow in the yard but a nasty hard drift across the driveway about 100 ft long. I haven’t looked at the drives to the sheds yet.

Ralphie, the conditions near Togo may be a bit challenging ? Here in Hermantown we have received 8+ inches of fresh snow on top of about 3 the other day. The drifting was quite pronounced to say the least, and there are sizable drifts with heavy crusting . The temps will be good and are good for ice formation. At 12;40 it is 1.5 degrees here.
The chickens will have a day off from free ranging today, and they went to roost early yesterday.

Looking around out here, you'd never know we had a blizzard yesterday. The fields are bare! What snow is on the ground is grey. The ditches where there are plowed fields are black with dirt.

The dog thought all the gifts were hers and she snarled at the cats when they were trying to open theirs. I told her she was a bad girl, now she's pouting. The cats gifts smell like catnip so the dog knows they're not hers. Little snot.
