A beautiful Orpington hen died yesterday for no apparent reason, not even 1 1/2 yr.

This heat probably... I lost 2 CX mixed meat mutts yesterday. They were a 3 or so years old though. Which is old for them.

It wasn’t as hot yesterday as it had been so I didn’t think it was heat related. She was molting but not heavily.

Hello friends . Been busy up north . Tired and sore most days . Traveling Monday . I was at the local lumber / hardware last week . Guy in front of me had 8 cans of hornet spray . I would love to have got a video of that fight . Cabinets and countertops are installed . Built a ramp for DW . Pluming is done in kitchen . Deck is started but running out of time and lost some time to rain . Ok I had a mishap Saturday night and I am mostly ok . DW started leaving the hall light on while getting ready for bed . So she said turn it off . I did but the change in light left me in the dark . Night light in bathroom throws enough light . Well I could not see well enough . Caught 2 little toes on her suitcase and down I went full length . Landed on right forearm . Jammed my shoulder . So no overhead work for a few days .Mostly ok now . Some say I fell but I may have been pushed .

The life insurance lottery is deadly for the poorer player. In this case it appears Jerry is the poorer player.

Because she is at the State Fair….. she send this photo her DH took. They are getting hail.
