Weird isn’t it.I got to mow the lawn two weeks in a row!!! I think this was my fifth mow of the year. Pretty crazy and sad.
I hope those up north stay safe with those fires burning. So sad to hear they might not be completely out till snow fall![]()

Mine tasted fine, I break the acorns for them. But I don't have many.I have a question, it could go in the meat birds thread but these aren’t actually meat birds but I will be eating them.
These Wyandotte cockerels will be butchered next week, the squirrels drop broken acorns from the trees and the chickens will eat them. They won’t break acorns to eat them just the already broken ones. Will the meat taste gross?
I don’t think I’ve seen the pullets eating acorns just the boys.
