I have my favourite resturant - it is Japanese. I have been to Japan as well. Here we go a great way to use Quail eggs - the Japanese do this (Nth Japan).
2 small quail eggs raw, 2 teaspoons of ferminted bean curd, sashimi tuna (very finely sliced), japanese soy, wasabi. Stir together - yum.

Mother of 2, Quails, Canaries, Kitten, Dog, Frogs and Fish - well only knew at this.
I am trying to remember the Japanese name for that dish. Its tuna and egg in japanese.
