I have my favourite resturant - it is Japanese. I have been to Japan as well. Here we go a great way to use Quail eggs - the Japanese do this (Nth Japan).
2 small quail eggs raw, 2 teaspoons of ferminted bean curd, sashimi tuna (very finely sliced), japanese soy, wasabi. Stir together - yum.

Dam keep editing because - we spell so different down here.

Mother of 2, Quails, Canaries, Kitten, Dog, Frogs and Fish - well only knew at this.

I am trying to remember the Japanese name for that dish. Its tuna and egg in japanese.

I don't care for sushi and all the fixings, but I do like a plate of sashimi with wasabe. When we lived on Guam we'd go down to the docks and get frozen Yellowfin fillets to eat as sashimi.
 
Do oysters on the half shell count? SAVE THE APPALACHIA OYSTERS - save water in Atlanta.
 
My husband and I eat it all of the time! I love spicy red snapper rolls and he likes the broiled eel and avacado. I remember him getting a baby octopus salad and them bringing out whole tiny baby octopus in an over sized cocktail glass, that was

Had a rainbow roll for lunch .. with soy sauce and wasabi ...

Wow i dont really see as many people who dislike it as i expected.
