Sustainable Supplementary Chicken Feed: Male Papaya Flowers

Before falling to the ground the male papaya flowers have already provided nectar and pollen to insect pollinators. Here in Palawan I have observed Apis dorsata, the giant honey bee, foraging on the flowers; they also provide food to nectar feeding birds like the Olive Sunbird.
