Trixie, Honey (also the name of my senior diva hen, a Buff Orpington) and Gizmo are little beauties -- and hopefully, all girls!

thanks yeah they are gorgeous the only one I'm worried about not being a hen is gizmo

so gizmo is a rooster and swamp river farm is currently a peninsula

our driveway above is clearly non accesible

the pond above looks more like a lake and the poles in the back are for the bridge which is under water

usually in the garden above we have 4 neat raised beds now we have a jumbled mess of beds and its a mystery as to if the peas, tomatoes and other things we have down there will be ok when i went down there yesterday i picked a ton of peas all the plants looked really good we had tomatoes growing and now

ill add pictures of the aftermath later because i am 100% sure its going to be devastating luckily the animals are all ok

Thank goodness everyone is okay. I guess I wasn't aware of the devastating rainfall that hit New York over the weekend. After I saw your post, I looked online, and it appears that a lot of folks are dealing with the kind of messes you have. I can't imagine how much work it's going to be to clean up once the water recedes.

Well, you were right about Gizmo being a rooster. Are you going to keep him or find a new home for him?

as far as Gizmo goes he will be staying for now but i have never owned a rooster and i am kind of nervous so if he becomes aggressive he will be going to my boyfriends farm to become chicken dinner

Again we got really lucky though and again my brother's freind lost most of their belongings and so many more people are left struggling its heartbreaking

I meant what had happened in regards to the flooding. I'm on the other side of the country and haven't heard of any hurricanes/heavy rainfall, so I wasn't sure if it what had happened. I apologize for the misunderstanding
