I should also mention, the birds I'm selling are from Leigh's flock as well... my own birds weren't laying at that time. all the younger stock I have now are from my own birds. - my mille fleur hen and roo are from Leigh's old rooster Gunnar, the other 2 girls I have, a crested blue mille and a blue mottled came from a breeder in Alabama who got her stock from GFF and is no longer breeding.

I'm in Oklahoma, and they came from Cathie Sue. I could be incorrect, but I believe they're second generation Greenfire.

ok well thanks but I can't afford any more shipped roosters right now... I've already had 3 shipped to me this spring from maine and Arkansas! LOL (bantam cochins to replace boys eaten last summer)

Squeeeee! Did you get a white one or are they both yellow? Any white babies are from Ali - she's my snuggle bug! Will come racing over and ask to be picked up. She wants to be held for hours on end! LOL! Just a total lover.

One is definately white & I had quite a few eggs from Ali......keeping my fingers crossed

Final hatch count on my eggs from TXFlowers: 29 of 33 hatched. I had one fatality shortly after hatch, leaving me with 28 flower babies!

Thank you to all the posters in this thread who've talked about incubating techniques over. I read this thread through from the start during the last three weeks and all of your tips helped contribute to what I consider to be a FREAKIN' FANTASTIC hatch!
