I have to say thanks to YOU too, for being so great to work with on shipping my first birds. as you know, I worried about EVERYTHING. LOL

A couple of the ladies are really getting red in the face, do you remember how old they were? I'm thinking there might be eggs in a couple of weeks (hopefully)!

Received a few chicks today from a BYC member, a farm in Florida. They had double set for an order and the 1st set hatched well so there were extras. This is one of the ones sent. I'm thinking double crested.

It was in stock and shipping today so hopefully I'll get it on Friday and be able to stabilize it over the weekend.

looks like it... my crests aren't showing up until about 3 - 4 weeks old.

If it helps any, this is a photo of my kiddo that was a crest to crest breeding @ 2 weeks.

Thanks Leahs Mom. It looks similar. This particular chick looks like the silkies I used to hatch, I *think* its vaulted due to the raised bowl shape. I'm sure they'll be a cutie but not something to breed forward.
