But Leahs Mom gets first pick of the black ones.

That's fine KYTinpusher. What color do the little black ones turn into when they're adults? I've seen several photos of the SFH and there's just so many pretty colors out there.

We ship chicks and hatching eggs. Our flock is leaving at the end of the month though, so if you'd like some speak now or forever hold your peace, LOL. (They are leaving because their hatching requirements don't line up with our program, not through any fault of theirs. They are a wonderful breed!)

not sure what you mean by hatching requirements... I dry hatch everyone and they get along just fine. (dorking, bantam cochin, sfh, Wyandotte, ee, mutt, you name it)

the first two were penguins... black and a blue. the splash was pretty obvious at hatch too. 8) and their adopted family (momma adopted them only 3 weeks ago or so.)

can't forget about the 'Pseudo Flower Hen' aka FrankenSwede. LOL

oh and the only crested to show up so far, tho some I sold may be crested, they were too young to tell.
cute little girl, just like her momma (adopted momma in the background).

My favorite Swf is my little Lily. She is blue with the white "points." I will try to get a pic this weekend. She is always the first to come see me when I enter the pen. She prefers me over my boyfriend, and he feeds them during the week, I'm only there on weekends. Lol! Unfortunately she got stuck in the feeder one night and everyone feasted on her butt feathers. (They left two long ones.) But they are growing back now and you can hardly tell.

ki4got, how old are the chicks in your photos, and have you been able to determine which ones are pullets or cockerels? The fourth pic, the red & white chick, looks very much like my Anna (for whom I am trying to figure out the gender). Appearance and color of comb are very similar.
