Does anyone have a German line rooster they'd like to sell? Or German line only hatching eggs?

If my sfh roo was crossed with a BR or cuckoo marans hen, would I be able to sex the male chicks by the spot on the head?

No, the roo must be a solid color in order for that to work. It should work with a BCM as his color panels are solid...

Or at least I don't think of any of my boys as being a solid color because that would be something I would cull for. And I wouldn't think it would somehow turn the flowers into bars... but, I guess truly I don't know!

So that's just my deductive reasoning.

Look forward to other answers though.
