x2 She is very pretty, but doesn't look like a pure SFH. I would love for my SFH to look like the ones on that link! Wow....My opinion is that it's not a pure SFH. I have looked at all blogs, galleries, posts of SFH's and have not found any resembling this bird. I myself had a cockerel that had very little flowering & poor body type but it was still evident to me that he was a SFH. I'm going to have the opportunity to see him again this week and I'll take pictures. Did you buy the eggs online so you weren't able to see the stock? Have you at least seen pictures of the parent stock? If not, I'd ask the seller to email you some pictures purely for your curiosity.ETA: Here's a link to a blog with a lot of pictures. This is in Sweden, someone working to preserve the SFH's.
The bird in your avatar certainly does look like a SFH, but perhaps a rooster got to the hen without the seller even being aware..it happens. Don't discount it on my word alone. Would like to hear what others think.
