Here's a recent picture of my main roo. I chose him over others not only for his appearance but also for his wonderfully sweet personality.

Hatch underway! So far 10 of 18 are out, and more pips. One looks like it may have a funky leg. Will be watching that little one. The most exciting tho is that there is one dark one so far. It looks black, but it may dry out to be a charcoal color. I was really doubting that I could get dark colors since my adults are all pretty light. I have 7 that are now 10 days old and they are pretty light as well but are begining to show some color.

My ten day olds are on the dark side, except for a blue who is showing some very interesting feather colors.

My Swedish Flower hen hatching eggs just arrived yesterday! I got 12 eggs from Ebay. Just hoping that they hatch out well.
