I’ve seen tons of threads about this stuff...almost seems too good to be true. Right now in my coop I’m using pine shavings. I have horses so I always have those in stock anyways. However, being able to just sift the poop out of the pdz looks absolutely dreamy. I have a 4 x 8 coop. The roosting boards run the entire length of the coop and unfortunately with how it’s set up, it’s not an option to add poop boards. So would it be safe to use the pdz directly on the floor of the coop? Basically as the bedding? Does anyone do this as opposed to poop boards?
Also side note...I saw in a thread that someone mentioned that pdz placed directly on the floor of the coop will ruin the floor unless you have linoleum down. Is this true?
