The infection in their feet, or puss... is very VERY hard in comparison to puss you would usually think of... so squeezing won't do much good if any... now that you have the scab off... keep soaking it & putting ointment on it before you wrap it & the infection will start working its way out. It will be kind of like cottage cheese, & it probably has a core in there that's gonna need to come out- judging by how swollen it is. Your baby will be OK tho w/ some TLC!
Just to clarify... should I be soaking in Epsom Salt water or just plain water? The infection in their feet, or puss... is very VERY hard in comparison to puss you would usually think of... so squeezing won't do much good if any... now that you have the scab off... keep soaking it & putting ointment on it before you wrap it & the infection will start working its way out. Oh okEpsom salt!
Yes that is puss... Just take the tweezers & get what you can, then just leave it alone & soak it & wrap it... & Let more work its way out & do the same... It's coming! Keep doing what you're doing! It's working! Here's a picture from today evening right before wrapping it up. I wasn't able to soak it in Epsom Salt since we were in a hurry to go somewhere. Probably won't be able to soak it tomorrow morning either, but I'll make sure to soak it tomorrow before I put them in for the night. There still seems to be swelling beneath the area where the scab was. Is it just pus that has to be taken out?
