I just ordered Fish Flex last week. It took a few days to get here. My local fish store didn't have it and they specialize in exotics/koi.

I would get some of Nettie's shoes to keep it clean and dry - that is so important - especially with those punctures in it. I let my little girl go for a swim twice a day then treated her foot. Then she was finally able to walk on it again....

yeah I did excavation last night to see if I could find anything.. nothing. I ended up lancing the swelling (LOTS of yellow pus and an equal amount of blood.. glad I'm not weak stomached), iodined and neosporined the incision site, and bandaged her up. She got a shot of penicillin as well. We'll keep that up.. I didn't know where I should inject it, so I did it right by her thigh, she was way less coopertive than Angel (my chicken with bumble) but was very good during the exploratory surgery. I'm just hoping that a plug will eventually show up so I can get it out.

Any IM injections go in the breast muscle. Not the thigh. No wonder it hurt. Do it in the meaty part of the breast from now on.
