Swimming Chickens

Hi! I was wondering, and I know this is really random, but, can chickens swim? I was just wondering...

I think 'floundering through the water' is a better description of it, lol. Some can do a kind of flapping struggle through the water but many just drown.

Why are you wondering?

You can have chickens or a pool but not both...

If you want a serious answer, I'm going to say no (when the neighbour kids and I were younger we tried getting the hens to go into the (shallow) pool but to no avail. Their feathers aren't up to the job.)
