Switching over from chick food to egg layer food

Hello! One of my pullets just layed her first egg today and i was wondering when we should switch her over to egg layer feed? Our other pullet is still probably a few weeks away from laying but would it be okay if we switched her over too or should we just keep our pullet that has begun to lay eggs on the chick feed until our other girl lays eggs too?

I actually mixed the 2 feeds just to use up the starter feed I had left.

You could also feed all flock and provide oyster shells on the side. That way you dont have to worry about feeding layer feed to any birds that arent yet laying.

You can do it either way, but if you still have chick feed left, I'd use it up first. Makes more sense to use up the food you already have first. Definitely have oyster shell on the side for the layer.
