Swollen area around the eye - not in the eye itself. *PICS*

]Problemo: Swollen round area around the eyes of 1 barred rock and 1 buff orp out of a pen of 8 total birds. Swollen area is approx 1/2 the circumference of a pencil.
Symptoms: None other than swelling. normal eating and habbits, normal poo, no noticeable change in behavior. Has been visible for a few (4?) days
Age: Approx 8 weeks
Environment; See below. Approx 5.5' x 3 Pine Shavings. Goes in between the garage and outdoors when it's not too chilly/windy. No cars are in the garage, and no other pets.
Feed: Medicated chick starter

I am thinking maybe this is a sinus issue?? The chicks in question are getting ready to be put into their 'big girl' coops, so I'm just trying to do some double checking before exposing them to the rest of the flock. I have had them since day old, they are hatchery stock (so, approx 8 weeks of monitoring with no visible cue for illness or disease).

Any ideas?

I'd keep them isolated til you figure this out. There are lots of contagious sinus-ish problems that birds get. Also, I have seen photos of birds with Mareks that have weird looking eyes.

I just wanted to post an update in case anyone searches for something like this in the future.

I took the two birds to the Vet yesterday. He diagnosed as a sinus infection and put them on erythromycin for a week.
