Swollen chick

Hello all,
I have some Cornish X Rocks about 2 -3 weeks old. One is very swollen and sits splayed legged- sits on his butt. He is eating and drinking. His vent is not blocked, i did take a wet cloth to his bottom and gently squeezed and he did poop.
His tummy is soft on one side and hard on the other side. Any ideas on how to save this baby?

When you say swollen, more so than the others? Swollen all over or just the abdomen?

I have 6 at 3.5 weeks and they all look swollen to me. But running around and eating like demons.

pictures please? Research fluid retention. I'm not that proficient here. Did you post in emergencies?

Give it some coconut oil, get things moving.
Is it's crop full?
Might restrict it's feed until things are cleared out.

If he feels "spongey" I think you are dealing with Omphalitis. This is showing up at a later age than it usually does.
