I have a hen acting the same way could you tell me what you used for antibiotic?

I have Duramycin you can get it at most feed stores it is in a white and yellow bag. let me know if you do anything that helps your baby!

Here are update pictures of her eye it is worse today. the bottom lid is swollen and there is a clear line running down the center of it (vertical) I tried to rub the eye a little to see if was mucus and doesn't move. She hasn't seemed as sleepy today but not perky by any means.

Did your hen ever get better or did you figure out what it was? maybe eyeworms? Did you figure out the right meds for her? I hope she is well. I went to let my girls out this morn and one of them has one swollen puffy upper eyelid. Im so nervous.

In my case my April/Opal died two days after the eye issue. I did put the antibiotic in herwater and segregate her but lost her anyway nothing visible except for the sick eye no one else having any problem

Sorry to hear you lost your chicken that has got to be awful. What meds did you end up using?

My girls eye got so swollen she couldnt open it no other real signs of sickness. I gave her Tylan 50 and her eye was back to normal after a few days and shes is still doing great.
