I have an older hen (7/8 years old) who has a swollen eye lid. So far it only seems to be her, although others are shaking their heads from time to time. Her other eye seems normal.
Do you think she was just stung and it will heal on its own or could it be something that is a bigger deal? This particular hen is prone to bumble foot (her name is Bumble as a result…) but she hasn’t had an infection in 2 years and otherwise appears healthy and is acting normal.
