My Austrolorp Pearl is about 3 years old. Recently I thought I noticed her eyes may be a bit swollen but I decided to wait and see. Then I noticed some missing feathers in identical spots and shapes on either side of her neck just below her ears. She has no mites, and she is regularly wormed and treated. She is not being bullied by anybody so I’m sure that the feather loss is probably self inflicted. Finally, this morning I noticed a small pale bump on the side of her beak near the base. I looked in her mouth and throat and internally there does not appear to be anything unusual. She is acting normal otherwise. Based on some quick googling I think it might be Coryza but I am not sure. My vet will not be open until Tuesday next week so any advice and speculation is appreciated!
